Summer Camps

5 Days, 3 hours each day filled to the brim with designing, playtesting, and bringing the wild, wacky, and epic ideas to life.

Learn, Design, Create

Each day of camp introduces new ideas, challenges, and opportunities for the campers as they create their own board game. At the end of camp come to our open house to check out what our creators have been up to.

Breakdown Of Camp

Over 5 quick days, board game builders will learn about crucial parts of board game design such as rules, board types, what all the pieces are and much more. Below is a breakdown of our board game building program components:

Day 1: Theme & Backstory and The Board In Your Game
Day 2: Bits, Meeples & Pieces, Oh My!
Day 3: Rules and Their Importance + Playtesting!
Day 4: Visual Strategies & More Play-Testing
Day 5: Finishing Touches & The Pitch! (Parents are invited to the final 20 minutes of class to see their student present their game!)

Purpose Of Camp

While the program teaches young minds how to build a board game, the aim of this program is to inspire the next generation to take a step away from being consumers in order to be creators, makers and designers.

We breakdown a big project into bite sized pieces which allows the kids to take actionable steps towards completing their awesome games.

Our goal is for campers to apply this approach to other areas in their life.
